Bhai Kanhaiya Ji was born in Sialkot and was known for his compassion and selfless service from a young age. He served at Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Langars and was blessed by Guru Tegh Bahadur to continue his mission of serving humanity selflessly. During battles, Bhai Kanhaiya was seen giving water to injured soldiers, including enemy forces, which was criticized by fellow Sikhs. Upon being summoned by Guru Gobind Singh, Bhai Kanhaiya explained his actions of treating all as equal. Guru Gobind Singh blessed Bhai Kanhaiya and asked him to continue his mission of serving with water, medicine, and ointment. Guru Gobind Singh also praised Bhai Kanhaiya as a saintly soul and encouraged others to follow his example of selfless service to humanity.
